Learn Moroccan Arabic Online

Colloquial Arabic is the spoken language used by Arabs in their everyday lives. Unlike Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) that is uniform in all Arab countries, colloquial Arabic is subject to regional variation. These regional variations not only exist across countries, but also across regions in the same country. The Arabic language is quickly becoming an advantageous skill to have in business and is also a great language to learn for personal development.

Moroccan Arabic Course Description

Learn to speak authentic Moroccan Arabic from native-speaking instructors at Al Andaluse. Our Moroccan Arabic course is recognized by schools and colleges around the world for its quality, value, and effectiveness. This course aims to enable students to understand and use colloquial Moroccan Arabic sentences in practical contexts.

The course focuses on communication relating to personal life, basic needs, and social norms, as well as more complex functions such as seeking housing and using transportation. At this level, students can participate in a limited number of colloquial Arabic dialogues and debates and can ask and answer questions. Example topics typically covered include:

  • Introducing yourself in depth
  • Food and dining
  • Habits and hobbies
  • Home and accommodation
  • Daily routines and customs
  • Practical life skills

Grammar is taught as it relates to practical communication contexts. Students learn from native-speaking instructors who understand the nuances of contemporary Moroccan Arabic and can help you master both formal and colloquial expressions.
